Our dedicated staff works behind the scenes—and often on the front lines—to make sure daily operations run smoothly and everyone feels cared for, respected, and empowered.
Transportation
Building Bridges provides safe, reliable transportation to ensure individuals can access our programs, community activities, and essential appointments. Our trained drivers and well-maintained vehicles help make daily travel smooth and stress-free for the people we serve.
Food Services
Our Food Services team prepares healthy, balanced meals each day to meet a variety of dietary needs. We focus on nutrition, taste, and mealtime enjoyment to support overall well-being.
Nursing
Our on-site nursing staff provides compassionate, professional care to support the health and safety of every individual. From daily medications to wellness checks, we’re here to help with every step of care.
Maintenance
Our Maintenance team keeps Building Bridges clean, safe, and running smoothly—inside and out. We take pride in involving our clients in meaningful, hands-on work that builds life skills and a sense of ownership, while helping maintain the spaces we all share.
Public Notices
Public notice is hereby given this 27th day of March 2025 that The Building Bridges Developmental and Community Services, Inc. of P.O. Box 980, Lonoke, AR, has made application for funds through Section 49 U.S.C. Section 5310 for the purchase of the following type of passenger transportation vehicle: 09 22’ Small Cutaway Bus w/o Lift (13-Pass) and/or #10 22’Small Cutaway Bus w/Lift (10/0 or 8/1 WC0.
This vehicle will be used primarily for the following purposes:
Transporting consumers to and from the center providing services for habilitation, speech, occupational, developmental therapies, work activity programs, and social activities.
Purchase of the above vehicle is considered essential to the efficient operation of this organization in provision of public transportation services to seniors and individuals with disabilities. There is no intent to infringe upon, or compete with, existing public or private transit operators, including Section 5307, urban public transit operators and Section 5311, rural public transit operators.
Building Bridges Developmental and Community Services, Inc is requesting a vehicle that is not compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. However, Building Bridges Developmental and Community Services, Inc., does meet the “equivalency of service” requirements to individuals with disabilities in the community.
Any objection should be submitted in writing only to persons listed below. All comments will become a part of this organization’s application and will be a matter of public record. All written comments must be submitted within 30 days of the date of this notice. Any person wishing to request a public hearing on the proposed project must submit a request in writing within 10 days of the date of this notice to the persons listed below:
