Building Bridges Adult Services allows adults with developmental disabilities to reach their full potential while focusing on pre-vocational. We strive not just to provide services, but to create an environment where adults with developmental disabilities feel empowered, respected, and valued skills to live, work, and contribute as they desire within our community.

From vocational training to community inclusion, our programs offer a variety of experiences, boosting independence and confidence for adults.  We have two programs designed for adults depending on their level of need – Adult Developmental Day Treatment, located in Lonoke and Cabot, and Ready to Work Vocational Program, located in Cabot. Using a person-centered approach, we work to make everyone feel seen, heard, and most importantly, capable of leading their own lives.

The ADDT facility is also home to the Building Bridges Greenhouse.  This program component provides participants with valuable job training as part of their daily work activities.  Students are also responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the plants around the city of Lonoke.

“Bridging the Gap” Resale Shop is located at 505 N. Center Street in Lonoke. The resale shop is an avenue for perpetual fundraising for the supported employment and community living program, as well as opportunities for job training.

Bridging the Gap is open Wednesdays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. For donation questions, please call 501-0420
